As a project of Bwindi Children Skills Center, we participated in the agricultural course and learned how to plant seeds in the soil using agricultural methods. Before planting, we learned that the soil must be fertilized and then mulched to retain water in the soil so that the seeds can grow properly. Then we spray our crops to kill the insects that destroy our crops.
As a project, we hope that this will allow us to achieve a better harvest, so that the children can eat healthily. We sell the crops we grow and with that money we can pay the school fees. We are so happy to be a part of this.
