My name is Eustina Mujuni, I am the guardian of a wonderful girl named Gracious. I’m expressing my deepest gratitude to your incredible organization for the care and support you’ve provided to her and many other children. I know this is a small gesture, but words cannot fully express how much your work means to us.
When Gracious first came into my life, she was so quiet. She rarely spoke, and her eyes held a sadness that broke my heart. She had been through so much and had so many needs that I, as her new guardian, was struggling to meet. It was overwhelming, and I was so afraid I would fail her. That’s when I heard about Bwindi Children Skills Centre. I was hesitant at first, but the moment I walked through your door I felt a sense of relief. The staff was so welcoming and kind. They listened to me without judgment and treated Gracious with such gentleness and love.
Over the past years, I have watched Gracious blossom into a confident and happy child. She laughs now, a full-bellied laugh that fills our home with joy. She loves to tell me about her day at your centre, about the games she plays with her friends and the songs she sings. She talks about the art classes and the dancing sessions. It’s not just the activities, though. It’s the sense of belonging you’ve given her. She feels safe and loved, and that is a gift more valuable than anything else in the world.
The centre has done more than I would imagine and it has given us a second chance to have a happy life together. You’ve lightened my burden and helped me become a better guardian for her.
I am so thankful for the directors and sponsors of Bwindi Children Skills Centre who helped her to go to school, showed her kindness and care.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you’ve done for Gracious and for our family. You have made a profound and lasting impact on our lives, and we will be forever grateful.
May Lord continue to bless you.
