Bwindi Children Skills Centre

Restoring hope through education for orphans and vulnerable children by sponsoring school costs and teaching vocational skills for self-reliance

Education

We offer Sponsorship at primary level, secondary level and institutions.

Skills development

We teach skills like handcrafts, dancing and singing, so the children can explore their talents and develop themselves.

Entertainment

We entertain visitors with traditional dances and songs so children get exposed to new cultures and new people.

For Who

The skills centre is for orphaned and underprivileged children. Most families in Bwindi are very poor. The children in the skills centre are from the poorest families who cannot provide enough food for themselves and are not able to send their children to school. Many children are neglected by their parents as a result of poor family planning. Besides this HIV and AIDS are also a big problem in this area.

Mission

To offer hope and support to orphaned and underprivileged children, especially those affected by factors such as poor family planning and the challenges posed by HIV/AIDS.

Vision

To restore hope through education, and our goals are vast, ranging from educational sponsorship to vocational skills training.
